An Giang resolves and responds to 100% of voters' petitions
An Giang - There are 207 recommendations from voters before and after the regular mid-2025 session in the fields of economy, socio-culture, state management, security and order.
On December 29, the People's Council of An Giang province held its 7th session (regular session at the end of 2025).
At the session, information was provided on the settlement of voters' petitions. The total number of voters' recommendations before and after the regular mid-2025 session is 207 recommendations. In which: Before the session, there were 56 recommendations, after the session, there were 151 recommendations.
Total number of resolved or responded to petitions: 207/207 petitions, 100% rate. In which: 88 recommendations have been resolved or responded to, at a rate of 42.51%; 82 recommendations are being resolved, at a rate of 39.61%; 5 recommendations are under the authority of the Central Government; 32 recommendations are under the authority of the commune level.
Through the review, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People's Council found that although this year, the Provincial People's Committee and all levels and sectors must focus on many tasks to reorganize the apparatus, merge provinces, and implement two-level local governance... they still pay great attention to directing strongly in resolving voters' petitions.
Through the issuance of Official Dispatches to receive and explain voters' petitions and assign tasks to provincial departments, branches, agencies and units with the function of giai quyeting and advising the Provincial People's Committee to resolve or fully respond to voters' petitions. Thereby meeting the legitimate and legal requirements of voters, with clear classification appendices and specific answers.
In addition to the achieved results, the work of resolving voters' petitions still has some limitations. The review and reporting of the results of handling voters' petitions to send to the Provincial People's Council delegates to contact voters is still slow. The rate of petitions being resolved by voters is still high (82/207 accounts for 39.61% of the total number of petitions considered for resolution).
There are still some recommendations that have been delayed for many sessions but have not been completely resolved, such as: the shortage of medicine, setting up forest boundary markers to issue competent authorities to issue land use right certificates to voters, procedures for transferring medical examination and treatment facilities...
The petition has been completed or is still being resolved with some general replies, and a specific time for resolution is not yet expected.
The Legal Committee also recommended that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council request the Provincial People's Committee to direct departments and branches to proactively review and have a plan to coordinate well with relevant agencies and localities when responding to voters' recommendations in a timely manner.
There are measures to widely disseminate to the people about the contents related to 3 administrative procedures on registration for medical examination, treatment, referral, and referral. Resolutely resolve petitions that have dragged on through many sessions such as the shortage of medicine, setting up forest boundary markers for localities to issue land use right certificates to people.
Continue to have solutions to resolve the contents of voters' petitions being resolved, including reviewing which contents have not been answered specifically, and not having time, and the implementation progress needs to clearly plan the implementation time for each petition.
For the content of voters' petitions under the authority of the Ministry or the Central branches, they will direct the review, recommend the Central agencies to resolve or respond, then inform the delegates and voters.
For recommendations under the authority of the commune level (in the new merger stage), it is necessary to review, consider assigning tasks to the two-level local government in accordance and have guidance, direction, and urging the resolution of contents under the authority of the commune level to inform voters.
