2 wards in Hai Phong elect key positions of People's Council and People's Committee

On March 24, the Do Son Ward People's Council, term II, 2026 - 2031, held the first meeting to elect leadership positions and implement a number of other contents according to the provisions of law.

At the meeting, the Ward People's Council listened to the report on the election results of ward People's Council deputies for the term 2026 - 2031 and the report confirming the status of new ward People's Council deputies; and proceeded to elect key positions of the Ward People's Council and People's Committee according to the provisions of law.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Quoc Tien, City Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Ward People's Council. Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Trang was elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Council. Mr. Nguyen Quang Dien, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Do Son Ward. Mr. Pham Hoang Tuan and Mr. Ngo Viet Dong were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Do Son Ward.

On the same day, the People's Council of Bach Dang ward, term II, also held the first meeting of term II, term 2026-2031. The meeting elected leaders of the People's Council of ward term II, leaders of the Ward People's Committee and members of the Ward People's Committee for the term 2026-2031. As a result, Mr. Tran Huy Kien was trusted to be re-elected as Chairman of the Ward People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Ba was re-elected as Standing Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Council.

For the Ward People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh was re-elected as Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; Mr. Pham Quang Thanh and Nguyen Thai Hoa were re-elected as Vice Chairmen of the Ward People's Committee.

The meeting also elected leadership positions of the Ward People's Council Boards: Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu held the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee, Mr. Nguyen Dac Dong was re-elected to hold the position of Head of the Culture - Society Committee, Mr. Bui Xuan Tung, Bui Van Phong, Bui Trung Manh and Vu Trong Thuy were elected as members of the Ward People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.

The Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council approved Mr. Phung Cong Tien to be re-elected as Deputy Head of the Economic - Budget Committee; Mr. Nguyen Huy Tuong was re-elected as Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Affairs Committee.
