10 typical events of the National Assembly in 2025

Accordingly, 10 typical events and activities of the National Assembly in 2025 include:

1. The National Assembly passed a Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, creating a foundation for the strong innovation and reform of the apparatus of the political system.

2. In 2025, at 3 Sessions, the National Assembly passed 89 laws and 91 resolutions, contributing to removing bottlenecks and unlocking all resources to serve socio-economic development; for the first time, the National Assembly Standing Committee successfully organized a Law-making Forum.

3. The National Assembly passed the Law on Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils (amended); for the first time, the National Assembly Standing Committee successfully organized a Forum on the Supervisory Activities of the National Assembly, clearly demonstrating the innovation and improvement of the quality of supervision activities.

4. In 2025, at the 10th Session, the National Assembly "set a record" on law-making work, passing 51 laws, 8 resolutions on legal norms; deciding on many important mechanisms and policies of strategic significance, promoting the development of the country in the new era.
