On December 15, in Hanoi, General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Director of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission - chaired the 24th Session of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission, term 2020-2025.
At the meeting, the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission elected Major General Dang Van Long to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Military Commission's Inspection Commission for the 2020-2025 term.
5 Colonels appointed to the title of Associate Professor of Military Science
On December 15, in Hanoi, the Border Guard Academy held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint the title of Associate Professor of Military Science to 5 officers and scientists who have been recognized by the State Council of Professors as meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor in 2025 under Decision No. 79/QD-HDGSNN dated November 19, 2025.
The personnel appointed to the title of Associate Professor in 2025 include: Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dang Khoa - Deputy Director of the Border Guard Academy; Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Dinh Manh Quan - Head of the Postgraduate Department; Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Huu Hung - Deputy Head of the Investigation Department; Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thi Thanh Hue - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law; Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Quang Thuyen - Principal of Border Guard Intermediate School 24.
The appointed personnel are cadres with a long-term work experience, passionate about education - training, military science research, and at the same time have made many important contributions to the task of managing, protecting sovereignty, and national border security.
