More than 3,000 initiatives from the movement to study and follow Uncle Ho in Lao Cai

On May 1st, leaders of the Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation informed that in recent years, trade union levels have synchronously implemented studying and following Uncle Ho, closely linked to the professional tasks of each agency, unit, and enterprise.

The whole province currently has 517 grassroots trade unions with more than 41,000 union members, creating a foundation for emulation movements to spread widely.

The movements "Good labor, creative labor", "Good at state affairs, good at housework", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring labor safety and hygiene" are maintained effectively, arousing the spirit of innovation in the workforce and laborers.

The highlight is the connection of studying Uncle Ho with daily work, turning awareness into specific actions.

In the past 5 years, the whole province recorded more than 3,000 recognized initiatives; nearly 400 solutions participating in the Technical Innovation Contest; 1,500 emulation projects and products bringing in a value of nearly 21 billion VND.

Many creative and easy-to-implement models have been replicated such as "Each day remembering Uncle Ho's words", "Happy school", "Innovating the style of serving patients", "Lighting up rural roads"...

In the period 2021–2026, the whole province has built 370 models and 386 advanced examples, creating a positive spillover effect throughout the system.

Along with that, the exemplary role of officials, especially heads, is promoted through commitments to cultivate and train, contributing to enhancing the responsibility of serving the People.

In the coming time, Lao Cai Trade Union determines to continue to put the study and following Uncle Ho into practice, taking "following" as the focus; and at the same time innovate propaganda, encourage union members to promote creativity, apply science and technology and digital transformation.
