Ca Mau: Workers of Bac Lieu Playboy Hotel compete in skills
Ca Mau - In the afternoon of September 27, the grassroots Trade Union of Cong Tu Bac Lieu Hotel coordinated with the Board of Directors of the company to organize the 1st Restaurant and Hotel Skills Contest - 2026.
The contest was held on World Tourism Day (September 27), attracting a large number of workers working at departments of Cong Tu Bac Lieu Hotel, Bac Lieu ward, Ca Mau province to participate.
Contestants compete in 4 categories including room, bar, kitchen and table.
The room competition requires contestants to perform vacuuming, bedspreading, and honeymoon room decoration operations; the mixing and cooking competition challenges creativity with secret themes and ingredients.
In table work, candidates show their skills in serving wedding parties and handling real-life situations.
The grassroots trade union of Cong Tu Bac Lieu Hotel currently has 85 union members. Through the contest, workers have the opportunity to exchange and share experiences, and at the same time contribute to improving skills, standardizing service processes and service quality.
Mr. Mai Hoang Viet - Director of Cong Tu Bac Lieu Tourism Service Joint Stock Company - said that the contest aims to improve the skills of workers, help departments better understand each other's tasks, thereby increasing coordination in serving customers.
At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to individuals with outstanding achievements, including 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes along with cash and culinary gift vouchers.
