More than 5,600 workers in Bac Ninh are affected by businesses' late payment of social insurance

731 units are late in paying social insurance for 3 months or more

Bac Ninh Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH) has publicly announced the list of employers who still have to pay social insurance, health insurance (BHYT), and unemployment insurance (BHTN) for 3 months or more (data as of the end of July 2026).

Accordingly, the total number of units is 731, the total number of workers with late payment is 5,639, with a total amount of late payment of more than 168 billion VND.

In which, some units are late in payment with large amounts of money and prolonged time such as:

LILAMA 69-1 Joint Stock Company (address: 112 Tran Hung Dao, Vo Cuong ward) is late in paying more than 51 billion VND of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for 149 employees, equivalent to more than 64 months.

Quang An 1 Industrial Joint Stock Company (address: Tan Hong - Tu Son Industrial Cluster, Dai Dong Commune) is late in paying more than 22 billion VND in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for 65 employees, equivalent to more than 84 months.

LIM KR Co., Ltd. (address: Lot A9, Que Vo Industrial Park, Phuong Lieu Ward) late payment of more than 6.7 billion VND in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for 56 employees, equivalent to more than 45 months.

The fact that businesses are slow to pay social insurance for a long time has affected many legitimate rights of workers such as: retirement, death, occupational accidents, occupation, sickness, maternity.

Sudden inspection at 63 units, recovering 9.5 billion VND of late payment money

Talking to a reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Bac Ninh Provincial Social Insurance said that the situation of late payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance still occurs in some businesses; some units face difficulties in production and business, leading to prolonged late payments.

As of July 31, 2026, the total amount of late payment of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance for the whole province is 922 billion VND (including units with late payments of less than 3 months), equivalent to 2.94% of the amount to be collected.

Of which, late payment of social insurance is 735.3 billion VND, late payment of unemployment insurance is 32.549 billion VND, late payment of health insurance is 145.9 billion VND.

The inspection work continues to be implemented according to the plan, with focus and key points; focusing on units that are late in paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, and units showing signs of legal violations in order to promptly rectify and overcome shortcomings, and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

As of July 31, 2026, Bac Ninh Provincial Social Insurance has conducted surprise inspections at 63 units and recovered the amount of late payment of 9.5 billion VND/10.7 billion VND, reaching 88.8% of the amount of late payment and evasion; at the same time, the units continue to commit to implementing the roadmap for paying the late payment amount to the Social Insurance agency.

In the last 5 months of 2026, Bac Ninh Provincial Social Insurance will focus on implementing solutions to develop participants, urge collection, and reduce late payment of social insurance, unemployment insurance, and health insurance.

At the same time, strengthen the review and exploitation of data to identify potential target groups participating in social insurance and health insurance; closely coordinate with departments, branches, and localities to organize support for the development of participants in propaganda and mobilization of people to participate in voluntary social insurance and household health insurance.
