Giving Tet gifts to 120 poor and disadvantaged households in Tra On commune in the spring of 2026
Vinh Long - Giving Tet gifts to 120 poor households and disadvantaged people in Tra On commune, contributing to taking care of their livelihoods and encouraging people to enjoy the Spring Festival.
On the afternoon of January 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra On commune coordinated with benefactors to organize a program to give Tet gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances in the commune.
In this donation round, 120 people received Tet gifts, each worth nearly 400,000 VND, including cash and essential necessities for daily life.
The total cost of the program is more than 43 million VND, supported by Mr. Khuong Nhat Minh (Tra On commune) and benefactors living and working abroad.
The meaningful gifts contribute to encouraging the spirit, helping poor households in Tra On commune have more conditions to celebrate the warm, fulfilling traditional New Year, confidently entering the new year.
Mr. Phung Tan Phuong - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra On commune said that the Tet gift giving program is a meaningful activity, demonstrating the cooperation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and benefactors in caring for the well-being of poor households.
"Although the gifts are not of great value, they contribute to encouraging the spirit, helping poor and disadvantaged households in Tra On commune have more conditions to celebrate the traditional Tet warmly and fully," Mr. Phung Tan Phuong shared.
