Solemnly commemorating the 57th anniversary of the sacrifice of 13 heroic martyrs Truong Bon

On October 30, at Truong Bon National Historical Site (My Son Commune, Do Luong District), a ceremony was held to commemorate the 57th anniversary of the sacrifice of 13 heroic martyrs of Truong Bon Youth Volunteer (October 31, 1968 - October 31, 2025).

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial Youth Union; and Ms. Tran Thi Thong - former squad leader of Squad 2, historical witness, representative of leaders of departments, branches, organizations, armed forces, martyrs' relatives, youth union members and a large number of people.

In a solemn and emotional atmosphere, delegates offered flowers, incense to commemorate, express gratitude for the great contributions and heroic sacrifices of the 13 young volunteer martyrs of Company 317 - children aged eighte and twenty who fell in the middle of the "fire zone" of the Border Guard, donating their entire youth and blood and bones to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province shared: "Truong Bon is forever a shining symbol of revolutionary heroism, an immortal song about patriotism, brave spirit and steadfast will of the young generation of Vietnam in the resistance war against the US to save the country".
