Returning 1.3 billion VND to the wrong transferee
Ha Tinh - Discovering that her account suddenly received 1.3 billion VND from a stranger, Ms. Dung reported it to the police, and then transferred it back to the person who transferred it by mistake.
According to Ky Anh Commune Police, at about 5 pm on March 5, Ms. Tran Thi My Dung (born in 1982, residing in Tan Thanh village, Ky Anh commune, Ha Tinh province) discovered that her bank account suddenly received 1.3 billion VND from a strange account.
Immediately after that, Ms. Dung proactively reported to Ky Anh Commune Police to ask for verification and find the person who mistakenly transferred it in order to return it.
Upon receiving the information, Ky Anh Commune Police quickly conducted verification and identified the owner of the mistaken money transfer account as Ms. Ha Thi Minh (born in 1999, residing in Cam Hung commune, Ha Tinh province).
After that, Ky Anh Commune Police completed the procedures and witnessed Ms. Dung returning the amount of 1.3 billion VND to Ms. Minh.
Receiving her mistakenly transferred money, Ms. Minh was happy and sent her thanks to Ms. Tran Thi My Dung and the Ky Anh Commune Police force.
