Female worker in Thanh Hoa returns a bag of assets worth more than 1.4 billion VND after picking it up

On February 7, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that Dong Quang Ward Police had just organized the handover of property to the person who dropped it, with a total value of up to more than 1.4 billion VND.

Previously, on February 5, while doing environmental sanitation work on Tran Phu street, Hac Thanh ward, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet (residing in Dong Quang ward) picked up a handbag, inside which there was 40 million VND in cash and a savings book worth 1.4 billion VND, in the name of Ms. Le Thi Lan, residing in Hac Thanh ward.

After picking up the above property, Ms. Tuyet proactively went to Dong Quang Ward Police to report, requesting coordination to verify and find the owner.

Through verification, Dong Quang Ward Police quickly determined that the above property was dropped by Ms. Vuong Linh Dan (residing in Hac Thanh ward). Ms. Dan is the person authorized by Ms. Le Thi Lan to withdraw money from the bank. In the process of bringing cash and savings books from the bank home, Ms. Dan unfortunately dropped her handbag.

After completing the procedures according to regulations, Dong Quang Ward Police organized the full return of the property to the person who dropped it, ensuring the correct order and legal procedures.

After receiving back the property, Ms. Vuong Linh Dan expressed her gratitude and wrote a letter of thanks to Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet and the Police force.
