Returning more than 1 billion VND to the wrong transferee
Ha Tinh - Account receiving more than 1 billion VND from a stranger, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang returned it to the person who transferred it by mistake.
On February 14, Thanh Sen Ward Police informed that the unit had just coordinated to verify and help a citizen in Hanoi city receive back more than 1 billion VND after mistakenly transferring money.
Previously, during the process of transferring money to relatives, Ms. Phan Thi Lien (residing in Hanoi city) mistakenly transferred 1,033,000,000 VND to the account of Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang (residing in Thanh Sen ward, Ha Tinh province).
The day after receiving the information, Thanh Sen Ward Police quickly intervened, coordinating with BIDV Bank Ha Tinh Branch to carry out investigation and verification operations.
Discovering that the account received a large amount of money from strangers, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang also proactively coordinated, ready to carry out the necessary procedures to return the money to the owner.
Under the witness and support of Thanh Sen Ward Police and the bank, on the afternoon of February 13, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Trang transferred the amount of 1,033,000,000 VND back to Ms. Phan Thi Lien.
