SE20 ship group returns more than 2,000 USD to passengers who left it behind
Passengers who left more than 2,000 USD and many important documents on the SE20 were discovered, preserved and returned by the ship team according to the correct procedures.
When train SE20 stopped at Ninh Binh station, the train team discovered and returned more than 2,000 USD to passengers along with many important documents that had been forgotten.
At about 9:07 a.m. on January 23, while the SE20 train stopped to pick up passengers at Ninh Binh station, the staff of carriage number 2 Luong Minh Tam discovered a blue handbag left on the train. Immediately afterwards, the incident was reported to the captain of the Kaohsiung Nam ship for handling according to regulations.
The SE20 ship group conducted an inspection and made a record in the presence of the passengers on the ship. Through inspection, the bag contained 2,150 USD, nearly 1 million VND in cash and many important documents such as passports and ID cards.
After verification, the train team proactively contacted passengers to notify them of the discovery of the forgotten property. The female passenger said she was surprised and happy that all her assets had been safely preserved.
It is expected that on the same evening, when train SE19 arrives at Ninh Binh station, the train team will return all assets to passengers according to the correct procedure.
