Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police pave the way to take a pregnant woman to the hospital in time

On January 23, a clip appeared on social media recording images of patrol police officers leading a group to clear the way for a vehicle carrying the mother to the hospital in time.

According to the record, the incident occurred at 7:45 a.m. on January 22, amidst the crowded traffic in the morning at the Dan Chu roundabout, the working group on duty to regulate traffic, including Captain Vo Tan Phong and Captain Ly Vinh Dat (officer of the Patrol Team leading the delegation under the Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) suddenly received an emergency distress signal.

A taxi driver rushed to stop by the roadside, his face worried, explaining that he was carrying a pregnant woman, about to give birth, and needed support to open the way to Tu Du Hospital as soon as possible.

Recognizing the urgent situation, Captain Vo Tan Phong immediately used a walkie-talkie to report the incident and asked for instructions from the unit's on-duty team and command board to allow the working group to leave the position on duty.

Immediately after receiving the captain's consent, the two traffic police officers quickly deployed a support plan.

The working group used special motorbikes, turned on the horn and priority lights, directly guiding taxis through the Cach Mang Thang Tam - Nguyen Thi Minh Khai - Cong Quynh routes, squeezing through the crowded traffic quickly and safely, promptly taking the pregnant woman to Tu Du Hospital.
