Losing a wallet at a supermarket, a man was helped by the police to find it after 4 hours
Hai Phong - After 4 hours of verification, Hai Duong Ward Police found and returned the wallet along with money and important papers to citizen Nguyen The Luong.
On February 19, according to Hai Phong City Police, Hai Duong Ward Police quickly verified and returned the property to the citizen after only about 4 hours of receiving the report.
At about 7 pm on February 18, 2026 (the 2nd day of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo), Mr. Nguyen The Luong (born in 1989, working in Australia, returning to his hometown for Tet, residing in Tan Hung ward, Hai Phong city) dropped a wallet at GO! supermarket (Hai Duong ward, Hai Phong city). Inside the wallet were nearly 10 million VND in cash and many important personal papers to serve his return to work abroad.
Immediately after Mr. Luong reported, Hai Duong Ward Police received the information and urgently reviewed and verified. At about 11 pm on the same day, the police force found the wallet along with all of Mr. Luong's money and personal papers, and proceeded to return it to the citizen according to regulations.
Moved when receiving his property back, Mr. Nguyen The Luong sent his thanks to Hai Duong Ward Police, expressing admiration for the spirit of responsibility and dedication "serving the people" of officers and soldiers during the Lunar New Year, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Police force in the hearts of the people.
