Police help people find lost hospital fees

Receiving back the wallet containing all the money saved to treat his wife who is in the hospital, Mr. Tran Minh Thanh (born 1986, residing in An Hai ward, Da Nang) could not hold back his emotions, writing a handwritten letter thanking the police officers who did not mind difficulties and were determined to find his property.

On January 29, Hoi An Tay Ward Police (Da Nang City) said that they had just organized the return of all personal papers and 22 million VND to Mr. Thanh. This is not just a simple return of property, but also a timely sharing for a person in difficult circumstances.

Previously, Mr. Thanh came to the duty shift of Hoi An Tay Ward Police in a state of extreme anxiety. He reported losing a wallet on Dinh Tien Hoang street. Inside the wallet were not only important documents but also a large amount of cash - the amount of money he urgently needed to pay hospital fees for his wife who was being treated at the hospital.

Understanding the difficult circumstances of Mr. Minh and his wife, the leaders of Hoi An Tay Ward Police immediately assigned forces and synchronously deployed professional measures to search. With the spirit of "serving the people", after nearly 2 days of efforts to verify, functional forces identified the person who picked up the wallet as Mr. V.NG.S (born 2001, residing in Tay Ho commune, Da Nang) and mobilized this person to return the property to the owner.

During the property recovery ceremony, Mr. Thanh shed tears. Holding the "life-saving" money to take care of his wife, he wrote an emotional handwritten letter to the collective of Hoi An Tay Ward Police.
