Quang Tri - 4 students picked up the money and brought it to Tuyen Binh Commune Police to report and coordinate to return it to the person who dropped it.

On January 20, Tuyen Binh Commune Police (Quang Tri Province) said that they had just completed verification and returned the lost money to Mr. Ho Duy Vu (born in 1993, residing in Minh Cam Trang Village, Tuyen Binh Commune).

Previously, while walking on the inter-village road in Minh Cam Ngoai village, Tuyen Binh commune, a group of 4 students from Phan Boi Chau High School picked up a stack of cash that had fallen on the side of the road.

They include: Nguyen Tran Hoang (student of class 10A2), Ho Thanh Hieu (class 10A3), Bui Yen Nhi (class 10A1) and Ho Thi Mai Thanh (class 10A2), both born in 2010 and residing in Tuyen Binh commune.

Immediately after discovering the large amount of money lost, instead of keeping it, all four students agreed to bring all their assets to report to the Tuyen Binh Commune Police headquarters, asking the authorities to help find the owner. The total amount of money they picked up was more than 37 million VND.

Upon receiving the information, Tuyen Binh Commune Police promptly deployed verification measures according to regulations, and widely reported to find people whose property was lost. Through the process of checking and comparing information, the authorities determined that Mr. Ho Duy Vu was the legal owner of the above amount.

Witnessed by the commune police officers, the students directly returned the entire amount to Mr. Ho Duy Vu. After receiving the property back, Mr. Vu expressed his emotion and sent his deep thanks to the students as well as the Tuyen Binh Commune Police force.

According to Tuyen Binh Commune Police, the act of picking up lost property and returning it to the owner of the students is a beautiful act, demonstrating a spirit of honesty, responsibility and having a positive influence in the community. This is also a vivid testament to the effectiveness of moral education and lifestyle in school and family.

Currently, Tuyen Binh Commune Police are proposing that the authorities consider rewarding to promptly commend and replicate the examples of "good people, good deeds", contributing to educating the young generation to live honestly and responsibly with society.
