The "For the Poor" Fund of Hanoi will give 5,280 Tet gifts

Through the activities of visiting and giving gifts to the poor during the Lunar New Year, it is aimed at contributing to affirming the concern and care of the Party, the State, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the City Party Committee, People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City and socio-political organizations for the lives of the people, especially the poor and people in difficult circumstances.

Units under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City coordinate with the government and relevant agencies, member organizations to mobilize and organize activities to visit, encourage and support the poor and people in difficult circumstances affected by storms and floods so that everyone and every household can have Tet.

Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations support near-poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances, union members and members in difficult circumstances to ensure the right subjects, practically, avoid duplication or omission; contribute to caring for the lives of disadvantaged people during the traditional national Lunar New Year, use social mobilization resources and the "For the Poor" Fund to ensure strictness and compliance with regulations.

Review and compile statistics on the number and list of people in near-poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances, members and union members in difficult circumstances who need help; organize mobilization and introduce businesses and benefactors to support and give gifts to members of policy households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, members and union members in difficult circumstances during Tet, ensuring "Everyone, every family has Tet", "No one is left behind".

Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City has developed a plan to care for and give gifts to near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026; advised the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to report to the City's "For the Poor" Fund for 5.28 billion VND to give 5,280 Tet gifts to near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in communes and wards in the city (requesting 1 million VND per gift; supporting wards with 30 gifts/ward and supporting communes with 50 gifts/commune).

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City will advise on organizing a program to visit and give Tet gifts to near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances by central and city leaders. Coordinate with relevant agencies to organize working groups to visit and give gifts for the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 according to the city's program; introduce businesses and philanthropists to help, support and give gifts to near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City will also organize the program "Spring of Love - Tet of Sharing" to give Tet gifts to disadvantaged people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 (February 5, 2026 in Thuong Tin Commune, Hanoi City).
