Picking up a wallet with nearly 26 million VND, people brought it to the police to return it
Quang Tri - Picking up a wallet containing nearly 26 million VND and many papers on National Highway 1A, a resident of Dong Ha ward quickly reported it to the police.
On January 28, Dong Ha Ward Police (Quang Tri Provincial Police) said that they had completed the verification and return of property to the person who dropped it in the area.
Previously, at about 7 am on January 26, while moving through National Highway 1A, Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Hai (born 1969, residing in KP1, Dong Ha ward) picked up a wallet that fell by the roadside. Inside the wallet were many important personal papers and 25,945,000 VND in cash. Without hesitation, Ms. Hai brought all the property she picked up to Dong Ha Ward Police to report, requesting support in verifying and finding the owner to return.
Upon receiving the information, Dong Ha Ward Police quickly checked, verified and identified the owner of the wallet as Mr. Ho Tat Huan (born 1994, residing in KP5, Dong Ha Ward). Functional forces contacted and returned all assets and documents to Mr. Huan according to regulations.
Dong Ha Ward Police respectfully praised the honest and beautiful gesture of Ms. Hoang Thi Thanh Hai.
