Receiving money transferred by mistake, a woman in Quang Tri tri tri tries to return it
Quang Tri - A bank account suddenly received money transferred by mistake, a resident of Cam Lo commune proactively reported to the police to verify and return it.
On January 3, Cam Lo Commune Police confirmed that they had received and supported many cases of people voluntarily handing over and returning their assets to the lost people according to the law.
A typical example is Ms. Tran Thi Lan (born in 1973, residing in Phan Xa Phuong village, Cam Lo commune) who went to the commune police to report that her bank account received the money transfer by mistake.
Accordingly, Ms. Lan's account received 300 million VND from a stranger.
Immediately after receiving the information, Cam Lo Commune Police conducted verification and identified the person who transferred the money by mistake as Ms. Do Thi Then (born in 2019, residing in Tan Quang 7 residential group, Minh Xuan ward, Tuyen Quang province).
The police force invited both sides to the headquarters to complete the return of 300 million VND.
According to Cam Lo Commune Police, people's voluntary return of property demonstrates ethics and a beautiful lifestyle, while reflecting the effectiveness of mass mobilization work, contributing to building the image of people living honestly, affectionately and respecting the law.
