Great Solidarity Houses are supported for 3 households in difficult circumstances due to landslide impacts

According to a report from the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province, from January 26 - February 1, key activities were deployed synchronously, both taking care of people's lives during Tet and implementing political tasks according to the set plan.

Tet care work continues to be concerned with many activities of visiting and giving gifts to poor households, near-poor households, policy families and vulnerable groups, contributing to helping people celebrate Tet warmer.

In parallel, social security programs are being promoted, mobilizing many social resources to promptly support households in particularly difficult circumstances, especially those who lack basic living conditions.

Prominent in the week is the support for building 3 Great Solidarity houses for households facing housing difficulties due to landslides, helping people soon stabilize their accommodation, feel secure in working and production.

Each house is supported with a budget of 60 million VND, showing the community's joint efforts in caring for the poor, while spreading the spirit of solidarity and mutual affection in society.

In addition to social security, the preparation for the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels, term 2026–2031, has been seriously deployed, in accordance with procedures and ensuring the set progress.

The activities of inspection, review, preparation of dossiers, consultation and introduction of candidates are carried out strictly to ensure that the election takes place democratically, in accordance with the law and safely.

Along with that, propaganda work on elections is focused on, helping cadres, party members and people understand their rights and obligations, and raise awareness of participating in important political events.

Member organizations continue to promote their core role, deploy many activities towards grassroots levels, both taking care of the lives of union members and association members, and contributing to the effective implementation of common tasks.

The achieved results contribute to ensuring social security, consolidating people's trust and creating a favorable foundation for the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the coming time.
