Great National Unity: Complete the draft strategy to 2030, vision to 2045
Delegates contributed many opinions to contribute to building a great national unity strategy until 2030 and vision to 2045.
On January 15, in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a scientific workshop on "Current situation of gathering, promoting the strength of great national unity and giving comments on the draft National Great Unity Strategy to 2030 and vision to 2045".
Dr. Vu Van Tien - Member of the Presidium, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - said that recently, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front assigned the Propaganda Department to preside over the implementation of the scientific topic "Research on building the National Great Unity Strategy in 2030, with a vision to 2045", expected to be accepted before June 2026.
With that meaning, this workshop is one of the important activities of the theme with the desire to consult and ask for opinions from experts, scientists, and delegates to discuss and give comments on the draft "National Great Unity Strategy to 2030, vision to 2045". This is one of the products of the scientific research topic before acceptance of the Final Synthesis Report in 2026. At the same time, the draft will be an important document serving the content of the development of the "National Great Unity Strategy Project to 2030, vision to 2045" chaired by the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
At the workshop, experts and researchers participated in discussions and contributed in-depth opinions on the basic contents of the National Great Unity Strategy, including the goals, tasks, and implementation groups of solutions; clarifying the issues that the National Great Unity Strategy needs to pay attention to in the coming time.
Speaking at the Workshop, Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong - Member of the Economic Advisory Council of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that the draft Great National Unity Strategy has a comprehensive and relatively complete content, however, the structure of the draft Strategy needs to be presented in a more concise and clearer direction. Specifically, it is necessary to combine the content of "necessity of strategic construction" and "imply context", creating a new section "Imply context and the necessity of strategic construction" to ensure consistency.
"The draft National Great Unity Strategy needs to add appendices to the list of tasks, clearly defining tasks, people, and tasks to realize and turn strategies into actions," Dr. Nguyen Minh Phong suggested.
Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Duong - Member of the Presidium, Chairman of the Advisory Council on Democracy and Law of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that the draft of the Great Unity Strategy for the entire nation should have highlights, demonstrating new points to serve the new period. To bring the breath of the new era in the Great National Unity Strategy, it is necessary to recognize that the digital age affects many aspects of social life, including great national unity. Great solidarity in the digital age still retains its core value but is also an opportunity, a challenge.
Therefore, the draft National Great Unity Strategy needs to emphasize the innovation of mass mobilization methods in the digital environment, improving digital capacity for Front cadres and organizations; building digital trust, as a foundation for great solidarity.
Dr. Nguyen Van Pha - Member of the Presidium, Deputy Head of the Advisory Council on Democracy and Law of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee said that the Organizing Committee of the Workshop will fully and seriously absorb the comments contributed at the Workshop. On that basis, the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will conduct a synthesis, review, research and distillation to supplement and complete the draft strategy, ensuring scientificity, feasibility and suitability with practice, meeting the requirements of national development in the new period.
