Giving a Great Unity house to a poor family without land, wife with depression
Vinh Long - The Fatherland Front of Tra Con commune organized the handover of Dai Doan Household to poor households, contributing to stabilizing housing in the commune.
On the afternoon of January 13, Tra Con commune coordinated with benefactors to organize the handover ceremony of the Great Unity house to Mr. Duong Van Tung, residing in Bang Chang hamlet.
The 40m2, solidly built house, with a total cost of 80 million VND, sponsored by Venerable Thich Chuc Quang and Khang Dien Real Estate Company, helps Mr. Tung's family have a stable place to live and work with peace of mind.
Mr. Tung is a poor household, has a small child, no rice fields, lives mainly as a hired servant, his wife has a depression, unstable income, and lacks the conditions to take care of daily life.
The new house helps Mr. Tung's family celebrate the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo in 2026 in a warm atmosphere, creating more motivation to overcome difficulties and stabilize their long-term life in the locality.
The house handover activities demonstrate the spirit of mutual love, contributing to the effective implementation of social security policies, sustainable poverty reduction and strengthening the great national unity bloc in Tra Con commune.
