Quang Tri - The free meal organized by Quang Trach Commune Police gave more than 100 free meals to inpatients.

On January 3, Quang Trach Commune Police (Quang Tri Province) said that they had just coordinated with Battalion 3 (North Central Mobile Police Federation) to organize a volunteer program "Zero-dong Meal" at Bac Quang Tri Regional General Hospital.

The program is part of the activities "Winter Volunteering" and "Spring Volunteering", to share difficulties with patients and their families who are being treated as inpatients at the hospital.

Within the framework of the program, more than 100 free meals were given to poor patients. All meals are directly prepared by union members, youth of Quang Trach Commune Police and officers and soldiers of Battalion 3, from food selection, preparation, cooking to packaging, ensuring food hygiene and safety and nutritional quality.

The green vegetable source used in meals is harvested from the model of "Youth Vegetable Garden" built and cared for by union members of Quang Trach Commune Police, contributing to ensuring clean and safe meals for patients.

According to Quang Trach Commune Police, the meals, although simple, contained the affection, care and sharing of the officers, soldiers, union members and youth of the two units. This activity not only promptly encourages the spirit and adds motivation to patients during treatment but also contributes to fostering a sense of responsibility, compassion and close attachment to the people.

The "Zero-dong Meal" program is an activity to concretize the emulation movement of "The Third Party" in the People's Public Security force: Most disciplined - Most humane - Most proactive - Most proactive, while joining hands to effectively implement social security work, serving local socio-economic development.
