5 disadvantaged families in Vinh Long have new housing
Vinh Long - The Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with sponsors to hand over 5 charity houses, Great Unity for disadvantaged households in the province.
Accordingly, 5 houses were donated to Ms. Le Thi Hang, Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Mr. Pham Van Hau, Mr. Le Van Do and Mr. Bui Van Diep in communes and wards in the province.
Each house is supported with 60 million VND from Can Tho Lottery State-owned One Member Co., Ltd. and Ben Tre Lottery One Member Co., Ltd., with a total cost of 300 million VND, built solidly, helping households stabilize their housing.
At the families, representatives of the Provincial Red Cross Society and local authorities visited, congratulated, presented gifts, and encouraged the households to continue to overcome difficulties, work with peace of mind, and improve their lives.
Since the beginning of the year, the Vinh Long Red Cross Society has connected to donate 85 houses, with a total cost of 5.3 billion VND, contributing to ensuring social security and spreading the spirit of mutual love.
