320 households in difficult circumstances due to rain and flooding are supported
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City has supported 320 households in difficult circumstances, diseases, and those affected by rain and floods.
On the afternoon of October 8, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Bui Huyen Mai visited and presented gifts to encourage households in Tu Liem ward affected by rain and floods.
Based on the proposal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tu Liem ward, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city has supported 320 households in the ward in difficult circumstances, diseases, and affected by rain and floods.

On the afternoon of October 8, when the working group arrived at Phu Do village (Tu Liem ward), the village was still flooded. Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Bui Huyen Mai and the working delegation visited a number of families in difficult circumstances, lonely... in residential group No. 3, Phu Do village.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Tu Liem Ward, heavy rains overloaded the urban drainage system, causing flooding in residential areas and traffic jams. 320 households with about 1,120 people in residential groups: No. 15 Cau Dien; Residential groups No. 2, No. 3 Phu Do, affected by flooding.
Of which, 28 households with 95 people had to be evacuated. The local government has promptly mobilized support teams to move some assets, cut off electricity to ensure safety, and provide essential necessities to the people...
Ms. Bui Huyen Mai affirmed that all levels and sectors of Hanoi City are implementing many immediate and long-term solutions to overcome flooding and adapt to climate change; hoping that households will soon stabilize their lives...
