Dien Bien Trade Union exchanges vocational skills with workers in Yunnan (China)

On August 28th, information from the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) said that in 3 days from August 25th to 27th, the delegation of the Provincial LĐLĐ participated in the 2nd technical and vocational skills exchange program between 4 northern provinces of Vietnam and Yunnan province (China).

The delegation was headed by Mr. Tan Minh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation.

In Wenshan city, the delegation attended the opening ceremony, technical and vocational skills exchange conference with the participation of leaders of the Chinese General Confederation of Labour, Yunnan Provincial General Confederation of Labour and Vietnamese delegations.

Delegates exchanged experiences in trade union activities, caring for and supporting workers and developing vocational skills. Within the framework of the program, artisans and skilled workers of the two countries exchanged and shared techniques and initiatives in labor and production.

Representing Dien Bien, Mr. Mua A Chinh - Ancient Snow Green Tea Business - introduced his experience in tea production and processing, contributing to promoting typical products and the image of local workers.

The delegation also surveyed many models in Yunnan, from trade union services, traditional crafts to pharmaceutical and ancient tea production and processing enterprises; learned about the experience of building a workforce, developing vocational skills and creating jobs.

The activity helps the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation gain more experience in caring for workers, improving the quality of human resources, and at the same time strengthening exchanges and cooperation between trade union organizations and Vietnamese - Chinese workers.
