Dialogue with more than 500 union members and workers in Hue

On May 30, the Hue City Labor Federation said that it had just coordinated with the City People's Committee to organize a dialogue program between city leaders and union members and workers in 2026.

Presiding over the program were Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - City Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee and Mr. Le Minh Nhan - City Party Committee Member, Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Vice Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of Hue City Labor Federation.

Attending the program were representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, branches, full-time trade union officials and more than 500 union members and workers in the city.

At the dialogue, union members and workers raised more than 12 opinions and recommendations related to employment, income, social insurance regimes, working environment, worker housing, health care, education and social security policies.

Leaders of the City People's Committee and representatives of departments, boards, and branches directly exchanged and answered many contents of concern to union members and workers in a spirit of frankness, receptiveness and responsibility.

Concluding the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Vice Chairman of Hue City People's Committee acknowledged and received the opinions and recommendations of union members and workers; and said that the City People's Committee will direct relevant departments and branches to review and develop specific solutions for each content under their authority.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, the city will continue to maintain periodic dialogue activities to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations, contributing to better caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers.

On this occasion, the Hue City Labor Federation presented 250 gifts to union members and workers in difficult circumstances with a total value of 125 million VND.
