Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will have a dialogue with Da Nang workers

On the morning of May 9, at the Da Nang City Political School, the Da Nang City Labor Federation organized a meeting and dialogue between the National Assembly Delegation, the Chairman of the City People's Committee and trade union members and workers in 2026.

The conference was attended by Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Member of the Party Central Committee, National Assembly Deputy, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of the Da Nang City National Assembly Delegation, City People's Committee, departments and branches and more than 300 union members and workers, representing more than 220,000 union members at 1,776 grassroots trade unions in the area.

This is a direct forum for workers and laborers to reflect their thoughts, aspirations, and difficulties in life and employment. The groups of issues focused on dialogue include: working conditions, accommodation for workers; social housing, loan policies; job creation, vocational training, retraining; wages, social insurance, unemployment insurance, health insurance; severance allowances, job loss allowances; settlement of labor disputes, labor discipline and joining the Trade Union organization.

On this occasion, the Da Nang City Labor Federation presented 100 gifts, each worth 1.3 million VND, to union members and workers in difficult circumstances. Among them, 40 gifts were symbolically presented at the conference, and 60 gifts will be presented at the grassroots level.

Along with that, 10 "Trade Union Homes" were awarded to union members with housing difficulties, including 4 newly built houses and 6 repaired houses. The support level is 80 million VND for new construction and 40 million VND for repair.
