Exciting sports tournament of the Southeast Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Nghe An province

On the afternoon of July 28, at the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board in coordination with the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation organized the opening ceremony of the "Southeast Economic Zone and Industrial Parks Sports Tournament 2025".

This is a meaningful activity to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025), towards the 14th National Party Congress and the 18th anniversary of the establishment of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board (August 30, 2007 - August 30, 2025).

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation; Mr. Le Tien Tri - Head of Southeast Economic Zone Management Board; Mr. Hoang Van Phuc - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Vi Ngoc Quynh - Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs; representatives of departments, branches, sectors, enterprises, and a large number of workers.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Tien Tri - Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board emphasized: "Traditional sports are a healthy playground, contributing to physical training and improving the spiritual life of workers - those who are directly creating material wealth for society. This is also an opportunity for businesses to connect, share and strengthen the spirit of solidarity between units in the Economic Zone and Industrial Park.

This year's tournament brings together nearly 600 athletes from 32 units and enterprises, competing in the following events: men's football, men's and women's volleyball.

The Head of the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board also shared the losses that people in the western part of Nghe An are facing due to floods from storm No. 3. At the same time, businesses and individuals are called to show affection and responsibility, joining hands to support people in flooded areas according to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

At the opening ceremony, the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board presented 27 million VND to support people in the flooded areas of the western Nghe An region that were recently heavily affected by storm No. 3. At the same time, 29 gifts worth 1 million VND/gift were given to workers in difficult circumstances.

Right after the opening ceremony, the qualifying matches took place enthusiastically amid the enthusiastic cheers of hundreds of fans.

The 2025 Southeast KKT Sports Tournament and Industrial Parks of Nghe An province is not only a sports playground, but also a place to spread the spirit of solidarity, compassion and sustainable development in the business community and workers in the province.
