On December 14, Mr. Le Thanh Xuan - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the TKV Trade Union said that he had received the consent of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Party Committee of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group... The 7th Congress of the TKV Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030, was held on December 15 at the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group, No. 3 Duong Dinh Nghe, Yen Hoa Ward, Hanoi. Official delegates attending the Congress are 198 delegates.

The theme of the Congress is to be proud of the tradition of discipline and unity; innovate trade union activities; improve welfare; protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; realize the aspiration for sustainable development of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group.

The goal of the 2025 - 2030 General Meeting is to "Innovating trade union activities in a professional direction, building a new, effective model for workers; promoting the application of digital transformation in all fields of activity and connecting union members; focusing resources on long-term welfare and income for workers; promoting the patriotic emulation movement of mine workers associated with technological innovation, improving labor productivity, contributing to the implementation of the aspiration for sustainable development of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group".

The Congress has a slogan - "Innovate the organization, take practical care, connect union members".

According to the leader of TKV Trade Union, the main content of the congress is to summarize the implementation of the Resolution of the 6th TKV Trade Union Congress, period 2023 - 2025; develop directions, goals and tasks for the 2025-2030 term; elect the TKV Trade Union Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; elect a delegation to attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031...

The 7th TKV Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, is a political activity of union members and workers in the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries. The Congress is tasked with reviewing and evaluating the implementation of the Resolution of the 6th Congress, period 2023-2025; determining the goals, directions and tasks of the TKV Trade Union for the 2025-2030 term and electing the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Trade Union, term VII.
