The determination to strongly innovate the Party's thinking creates confidence for Trade Union officials

Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Van Sao - former member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, former Principal of the Trade Union University: The 14th National Party Congress determined the goal of bringing the country into a new era of development with the requirement of rapid and sustainable development on the basis of science - technology and innovation. Practice shows that the Vietnamese working class is the leading class in the revolutionary cause of our country, through the pioneering team, the Communist Party of Vietnam. Currently, the GCCN is present in all economic and industrial sectors, is operating, using mainly production tools and plays a decisive role in determining the economic development speed. Although it still accounts for a low proportion of the population and the social labor force, every year, the GCCN has created a large part of the value of the total social product, contributing mainly to the State budget. In the context of extensive globalization and international integration, when science and technology develop rapidly, the world and domestic situation change complicatedly, it becomes even more urgent to maintain and enhance the Party's GCCN nature. In addition to opportunities, the negative aspects of the market economy and international integration are also strongly affecting areas of social life - from economy, culture, ethics, to political institutions. The increasing differentiation between rich and poor, labor conflicts and social problems require the Party to be more persistent and innovate more strongly in building the GCCN. Therefore, entering the new era, GCCN leadership is an extremely important issue, decisive in maintaining and strengthening the leadership role of the Party, as well as sustainable development of the economy, culture and society.

From the reality and requirements of the new period, to build a modern and strong Vietnamese GCCN, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor has proposed to the Party Central Committee and the 14th National Party Congress 5 main contents. One of them is the need to soon issue a GCCN construction strategy associated with an socio-economic development strategy, concretizing the orientation of building a modern and strong GCCN in Vietnam, associated with the development of science - technology, innovation. Focus on improving educational qualifications, expertise, professional skills, industrial style and labor discipline so that GCCN Vietnam can adapt, develop quickly, master new and modern knowledge and technology, promote initiatives, innovation and integrate internationally in the new era of development. Innovate and further strengthen the leadership of the Party, the coordination and support of the State and the political system to promote the role of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in building a modern and strong GCCN, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations. Complete the mechanism, proactively fight and prevent the exploitation of workers' rights to establish organizations to divide the GCCN, distort and sabotage the Party, State and Trade Union. Pay attention to educating and fostering excellent union members to admit to the Party, especially admitting union members in enterprises without grassroots party organizations.

The 14th Party Congress was a great success, once again affirming the leadership role of the Communist Party in the GCCN of Vietnam, and at the same time affirming the absolute trust of the GCCN of Vietnam and the Vietnam Trade Union in the Party. With this victory, the GCCN and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor pledged to unite, promote the glorious tradition and revolutionary pioneering spirit, and steadily move forward under the glorious flag of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

I believe that the Trade Union organization will be determined to make continuous, proactive and creative efforts to soon bring the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress into life.

Ms. Phan Thi Hue - Vice President of the Vietnam Agricultural and Environment Trade Union: As a Party member, a full-time Trade Union official, I am very happy about the success of the Party Congress because this is a particularly important political event, a milestone opening a new development journey of the country. The Party Congress took place in the context of the country and the world entering a period of strong development of the 4th revolution, especially the explosion of artificial intelligence, science and technology and digital transformation. These contemporary changes have had a profound impact on all aspects of economic and social life, changing production methods, job structures, and professional skills requirements, posing great opportunities and significant challenges for union members and workers. Science and technology, automation and artificial intelligence are gradually replacing many simple, repetitive jobs, while the demand for highly skilled workers who are able to adapt, master modern machinery and technology is increasing. With the success of the Congress, I have strong confidence and confidence in the policies of the Party and the Congress. This will open a new journey for the nation, bringing Vietnam to rapid and sustainable development and gradually fulfilling the aspiration to build a strong country.

As Vice President of the Vietnam Agriculture and Environment Trade Union, I hope that the Party and State will continue to pay more attention to salary policies, social housing, health care, and education for union members and workers. Because current reality shows that the lives of union members and workers in general, union members and workers in the Agriculture and Environment sector still face many difficulties, their income is still limited, and production activities in the sector still depend heavily on nature and the weather. The Party's attention is a great motivation for union members and workers to enthusiastically contribute to production labor, contributing to the development of the country.

Dr. Tong Van Hai - Chairman of the Trade Union of the Faculty of Biotechnology, Vietnam Academy of Agriculture: Member of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture: The 14th National Party Congress clearly demonstrated the determination to strongly innovate the development mindset, with the fundamental shift from the "management" model to the "development creation". The Congress also established a new growth model based on science, technology and innovation. Major orientations such as developing new productive forces, perfecting new production relations, promoting the digital economy, green economy, circular economy, especially data economy, show the Party's strategic and long-term vision in the new context.

Although science and technology have been affirmed as the top national policy since the 11th, 12th and 13th Congresses, at the 14th Congress, the role of science and technology was raised to a new level, becoming the main driving force, decisive for the development of the country. As a scientific researcher, I believe that new thinking and development policies based on science and technology will create strong momentum, opening up breakthrough opportunities for Vietnam in the coming period.

From the perspective of a union cadre, I fully believe in the important decisions made by the 14th National Party Congress. As the largest representative organization, a center for gathering and uniting the GCCN and workers nationwide, the Vietnam Trade Union has been implementing many practical solutions, coordinating with the entire political system to build the GCCN of Vietnam to become more modern, stronger, and truly become a pioneer force in the cause of rapid and sustainable development of the country.

The success of the 14th Congress once again affirms the comprehensive leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the GCCN of Vietnam. I believe that the resolutions of the Congress will soon come into life, contributing to building the GCCN more and more strongly, thereby making an important contribution to the cause of building and developing the country in the new era, the era of national growth.
