"Green weekend" movement at Yen Bai Vocational College
Lao Cai - The occupational hygiene movement at Yen Bai Vocational College contributes to raising the awareness of union members in preserving the pedagogical environment.
Implementing the Resolution of the First Yen Bai Vocational College Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, under the leadership and direction of the School Party Committee, the Executive Committee of the Yen Bai Vocational College Trade Union has implemented the "Green Week" labor hygiene movement, gradually turning the movement into a regular, disciplined activity, closely linked to the school life and working environment of cadres, civil servants and workers.
The movement was officially launched in December 2025 with the synchronous participation of trade union groups, cadres, union members and students at the school's two training facilities.
On that basis, the activity is maintained periodically on the Friday afternoons of the 2nd and 4th weeks of each month, creating a unified rhythm of activities, contributing to the formation of the habit of maintaining environmental hygiene and raising the sense of responsibility of each collective and individual.

The "Green Week" movement aims to raise awareness, promote the spirit of self-awareness, proactive role of cadres, civil servants, workers and students in occupational hygiene and environmental protection.
Through regular maintenance, the movement has gradually spread a green, civilized lifestyle, contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful - safe - friendly learning and working environment, in line with the school's sustainable development orientation.
Activities are implemented in a diverse and practical manner such as: general cleaning of the campus; arranging and beautifying working and studying spaces in departments, rooms, lectures, practice workshops, dormitories; planting, caring for and protecting trees; practicing saving electricity and water; classifying, collecting and treating waste in accordance with regulations.
Maintaining the "Green Week" movement periodically and regularly not only contributes to improving the landscape of the school but also has a profound educational meaning, gradually forming the habit of green living and working responsibly with the environment in each cadre, union member and student.
