The Son La Provincial Federation of Labor believes that the Draft Document of the 14th National Party Congress has identified the key task: Building a modern and strong Vietnamese working class with strong political will, class awareness, national pride and truly the class to lead the revolution through the Communist Party of Vietnam.

This is a strategic orientation, affirming the position of the working class in the context of the country promoting industrialization, modernization and international integration. Faced with new opportunities and challenges, promoting the pioneering and core role of the Trade Union organization is the key to achieving the goals set by the Party. In that spirit, the Son La Provincial Federation of Labor proposed to add a number of contents and solutions to improve the effectiveness of Trade Union activities in the current period.

Regarding the representative role of the Trade Union organization, the Son La Provincial Federation of Labor suggested that it is necessary to clarify and elevate the position of the Trade Union as the only representative organization, with enough courage and capacity to represent, care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers. The next solution is to improve the quality of the working class by taking care of the material and spiritual life, implementing specific projects to build "Union institutions" such as housing, kindergartens, and supermarkets with preferential prices for workers. Promote social security activities, care for, visit and gather union members in difficult circumstances.
