Strive for 100% of union members in difficult circumstances in the area to be cared for and protected when requested

Attending the first Congress, term 2025 - 2030, there were 163 official delegates representing 11,492 union members in the ward. In addition to deciding on important issues of the workers' movement and trade union activities after implementing the 2-level local government model, the Congress also decided on goals, directions, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

Giang Vo Ward Trade Union was established on September 19, 2025. There are currently 110 grassroots trade unions, including 2 public service unit trade unions and 108 non-public enterprise trade unions, with a total of 11,492 union members.

For the 2025 - 2030 term, the Giang Vo Ward Trade Union has set out 3 breakthroughs and 6 key political tasks. In which, focusing on innovating the content and methods of operation; improving the quality of care, representation, and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

The Congress identified 3 breakthroughs: building a team of union officials with intelligence, courage, enthusiasm, responsibility, innovative thinking, flexibility, creativity, and application of digital transformation to meet the requirements of tasks; Promoting dialogue and collective bargaining, focusing on employment, wages, and occupational safety and hygiene; Strengthening the gathering and mobilization of workers to join the Trade Union organization. Building a strong ward union, a reliable support for workers.

Giang Vo Ward Trade Union also set 9 specific targets: Ward Trade Union strives to have at least 80% of enterprises and units with trade unions negotiate and sign collective labor agreements according to regulations; 100% of union members in difficult circumstances in the area are cared for and protected when requested...
