Union members and workers in Dak Lak send their condolences and expectations to the Provincial Party Congress

BẢO TRUNG (báo lao động) 25/09/2025 17:02 (GMT+7)

Dak Lak - Union members and workers have placed high expectations and made many breakthrough strategic decisions in the upcoming Provincial Party Congress.

Sending many expectations

According to the plan, the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, will take place from September 29 to October 1.

Looking forward to this important congress, union members and workers in the province have expressed their confidence and expectations for strategic and breakthrough decisions to promote socio-economic development.

Workers especially hope to improve their income, improve their quality of life and have the opportunity to settle down and make a living.

Mr. Tran Trung Tien (worker at Hoa Phu Industrial Park) said: "Over the past 5 years, my salary has increased from 6 million to nearly 8 million VND.

In addition to my wife's 8 million VND salary, my family can cover living expenses and raise two children to study." However, he hopes that in the coming term, the province will have specific policies to promote the construction of social housing, because currently he and his wife still have to rent a room and do not have a stable place to live.

Mr. Le Trung Hieu (worker at Hoa Phu Industrial Park) acknowledged that the province still lacks large-scale industrial parks that do not meet job needs.

He expressed: "If in the next 5 years the province invests in more industrial parks in the East and West, it will create many jobs, helping people not have to leave their hometowns. When working near home, living expenses are reduced, we will feel more secure in sticking with the business.

Mr. Hieu also hopes that the province will have solutions to support businesses to increase salaries, improve the quality of shift meals and build harmonious labor relations in factories and enterprises.

If the working environment is improved, workers will stay long-term, and productivity will also increase, he emphasized.

Bringing practical benefits to workers

Mr. Le Van Thanh - Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor - affirmed that in the period of 2025 - 2030, trade unions at all levels in the province will focus on implementing many strategic and breakthrough solutions.

In particular, the most important thing is to innovate activities and improve the quality of the trade union staff. Each cadre needs to clearly recognize their role and responsibility to continuously learn, practice, and meet work requirements in the new context.

According to Mr. Thanh, along with developing union members and establishing grassroots unions, the signing of collective labor agreements at enterprises will be promoted. The contents of the agreement must bring practical and specific benefits to union members and workers.

The province also focuses on implementing quality shift meals at large enterprises to improve the health and working spirit of workers, build harmonious labor relations, and at the same time minimize unpaid wages and late payment of social insurance.

With the continuous efforts of the trade union organization, I believe that in the coming period, the work of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers will achieve many positive results, helping them feel secure in their work, stabilize their lives and develop more and more, Mr. Thanh emphasized.

According to statistics from the Dak Lak Provincial Federation of Labor, after merging with Phu Yen province, the whole province currently has 676 grassroots unions with 57,914 union members and workers.

According to the plan, the locality plans to establish trade unions in 11 communes and wards so that full-time staff can stick to the grassroots and take better care of union members and workers.
