Union members enthusiastically participate in sports festivals to celebrate the Party Congress and the Trade Union's founding day

On July 12, the Trade Union of Cuu Long Petroleum Urban Investment and Development Joint Stock Company in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Phu Loi Ward, Can Tho City organized a folk sports festival to celebrate the 1st Phu Loi Ward Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union.

Attending and cheering for the sports festival were Ms. Tran Ngoc My, Vice President of the Can Tho City Labor Federation, representatives of local leaders and a large number of cadres, workers and laborers in the ward.

The sports festival brings together 8 teams from Phu Loi Ward Police units; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and ward organizations; Cuu Long Petroleum Urban Investment and Development Joint Stock Company; Human Resources Construction and Trading Company Limited; Tai Luc Construction and Trading Company Limited.

The teams competed enthusiastically in 3 folk games: team news announcement, solidarity step and water transportation through the head. The games not only bring a joyful and bustling atmosphere but also contribute to training physical strength, team spirit and the ability to coordinate smoothly between members.

Speaking at the sports festival, Mr. Dang Van Ut Anh - Deputy General Director of Cuu Long Petroleum Urban Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, Vice Chairman of the grassroots trade union, emphasized: "Sports festival is an opportunity for units to exchange, learn and strengthen solidarity. This is also an opportunity to contribute to promoting effective coordination between businesses and local governments, between workers and cadres and civil servants. Thereby, gradually building a united community, towards the goal of sustainable development.
