Mr. Ngo Dai Dong - Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Members of Vietnam Trade Union Tourism Company Limited said that in the past term, the Party Committee of the General Confederation has focused on leading and directing the resolution of difficulties and problems to adapt to the new organizational model. The Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor has maintained the leadership principle of the Party, especially the principle of democratic centralism; ensuring the comprehensive and direct leadership of Party committees at all levels over Trade Union activities.

According to Mr. Dong, the 2025 - 2030 term is of special importance to the country's development, realizing the strategic goals by 2030. "I hope the Party Committee of the General Confederation of Labor will continue to lead the work of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers. In particular, it is necessary to focus on leading the research and application of science and technology in production and trade union activities; promoting innovation and digital transformation in activities, contributing to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo. At the same time, launch an emulation movement among workers and laborers to promote initiatives, improve techniques, improve skills, and meet the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" - Mr. Dong said.

Discussing expectations for the Party Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation for the 2025 - 2030 term, Mr. Dong said that the Party Committee needs to continue to maintain its core political role, lead strongly innovative trade union organizations, and adapt well to the new context, especially the impact of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution and fluctuations in the labor market. Promote the spirit of solidarity, improve leadership capacity, build a strong, modern, effective and close Trade Union organization to workers; at the same time, actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

The Trade Union organization must continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective manner, closely linked to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, while enhancing the capacity for dialogue and collective bargaining, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises. In addition, it is necessary to promote consulting activities, legal support, and protection of workers' rights, especially in issues related to wages, social insurance, and occupational safety and hygiene.

Party member Nguyen Thi Ngoc Le, born in 1983 and Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Hue City branch, said that the Party Cell has 2 Party members who were sent to Hanoi to attend the Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025-2030.

This is the first time I have attended the Party Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term 2025 - 2030, after 17 years of work. I am very happy and honored to attend this turning point congress at a time when the whole nation is transforming with the common policies of the Party, said Ms. Ngoc Le.
