After picking up 183 million VND, the woman brought it to the commune police to report
Phu Tho - A woman picked up a wallet containing 183 million VND and brought it to the commune police to report and return the property to the person who lost it.
Details of the incident, at around 2:00 p.m. on January 3, 2016 at Mao Pho Pagoda, in Zone 5, Luong Lo, Lien Minh Commune, Phu Tho Province, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bac (born in 1980, residing in Dong Quang Ward, Thanh Hoa Province) went to Mao Pho Pagoda and discovered a red leather wallet on the side of the road.
Checking the wallet, Ms. Bac discovered inside 4 deposits worth VND500,000 tied with a chun rope, along with a CCCD and GPLX named Le Thi Thi Thien Thanh (born in 1976, residing in Au Co ward, Phu Tho province).
After that, Ms. Bac contacted the local security force and was instructed to go to Lien Minh Commune Police to report.
After receiving the information, Lien Minh Commune Police contacted the person whose name was on the wallet and invited him to the headquarters to work.
During the work, Ms. Le Thi Thien Thanh explained that at around 12:00 on the same day, she took the goods from Ms. Oanh in Do Xuyen area, Lien Minh commune. Then she rode her motorbike back to her hometown in Zone 6 Mac Pho, Lien Minh commune. When traveling, Ms. Thanh left a wallet hanging on the hook in front of her motorbike.
At the police station, after checking, it was confirmed that the amount in the wallet was 183 million VND, divided into 4 deposits with a face value of 500,000 VND. Ms. Thanh confirmed and committed that the above amount of money was her own lost money.
Witnessed by the police, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bac returned the leather wallet with the above amount of money and documents inside to Ms. Thanh.
