Da Nang workers send high expectations to the 14th National Party Congress
Da Nang Union members and workers in the city sent many expectations related to wages, jobs, social housing, etc. to the 14th National Party Congress.
Practical care and wide coverage
It can be said that the most outstanding mark in the work of caring for union members and workers of the Da Nang Trade Union in 2025 is its practicality and wide coverage.

From programs that have become brands such as "Tet Sum Vay", "Union Tet Market", "Workers' Month", "Union Meal", "Union Shelter" ... tens of thousands of union members have benefited from direct support policies both materially and spiritually.
Another noteworthy point, as Mr. Le Van Dai - Permanent Vice President of the Da Nang City Labor Federation, is that the care work does not stop at holidays and Tet but is implemented throughout and flexibly according to the actual situation.
When natural disasters and floods caused damage to workers' lives, trade unions at all levels promptly visited and supported those in difficulty, work-related accidents, serious illnesses, and fishermen in distress at sea. Those supports are not only of material value but also a timely encouragement and sharing.
The Da Nang Labor Union also expands care activities to the living space of workers through self-managed worker group models at boarding houses, free wifi support, legal bookcases, and organizing cultural and sports activities.
This approach contributes to improving spiritual life, creating community cohesion, helping workers not to be "broken" from social institutions after work.
Many expectations sent to the Congress
In parallel with the care work, the Da Nang City Labor Union also made a strong impression in protecting the legitimate and legal rights of workers.

In 2025, the Da Nang Trade Union will participate more deeply in legal consultation, supporting lawsuits, representing workers in court, monitoring occupational safety and hygiene and dialogue at the workplace.
Promoting the signing of collective labor agreements with more beneficial provisions for employees and improving the quality of dialogue at enterprises shows a clear shift from short-term care to sustainable care, linking immediate benefits with long-term stability.
In addition, livelihood support programs such as the Fund for Fundamental Assistance for Union Members in difficult circumstances have helped many worker families have more resources to develop the economy, gradually improving their lives. This is a "fishing rod" care method, helping workers proactively rise up instead of just relying on support.
Ms. Nguyen Thi To Loan, a worker at Premo Vietnam Co., Ltd., shared: I am the main breadwinner in the family, have a child with cleft lip disease, have just had a second surgery, and my husband is unemployed. In the past, in difficult times, especially during Tet or when the family has an emergency, the concern of the union is truly a support. From Tet gifts, union meals to legal advice, I clearly feel that the union always accompanies the workers.
Not only recognizing the achieved results, workers also have high expectations for the country's major decisions in the coming period.
Ms. Loan expressed her hope: "We really hope that the 14th National Party Congress will continue to pay more attention to salary policies, social housing, health care, and education for workers' children. When life is stable, workers will feel secure in sticking with the enterprise for a long time".
This is also the common wish of many union members: caring for workers does not stop at supporting in difficult times, but needs to be institutionalized into long-term policies, ensuring a minimum living standard, a safe working environment, learning opportunities, improving skills and sustainable livelihoods for workers.
