Uphold the spirit of daring to think, daring to do, daring to innovate of grassroots union officials

On November 27, the Trade Union of Hau Giang Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Joint Stock Company held its 2nd Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

During the past term, the work of caring for the lives of union members and workers (DV, NLD) has always been of timely and effective interest to the Executive Committee (EC) of the Trade Union. Accordingly, the unit has cared for more than 263 union members during holidays, Tet, sick visits, ... with an amount of over 162 million VND; supported the repair of 5 Union Shelters for union members in difficult circumstances, with an amount of 110 million VND.

The Trade Union has attached a signboard to celebrate major holidays, commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union on July 28, with a total cost of nearly 23 billion VND in Chau Thanh district (old Hau Giang). Thereby, contributing to improving and enhancing spiritual life and labor quality. The Trade Union Executive Committee focuses on developing union members, ensuring that 100% of eligible workers are admitted to the trade union organization.

The unit achieved outstanding results in the emulation movement for good labor and building a strong trade union organization in 2023 and in the "Workers' Month 2024" activity; achieved First place in the Emulation Cluster of affiliated trade unions; the movement of initiatives for good solutions was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL).

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Le Cong Khanh - Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation and Head of the City Trade Union Work Committee - acknowledged and highly appreciated the performance of the Company's Trade Union with many outstanding achievements.

In the new term, the Vice President of the City Labor Federation proposed that the Executive Committee uphold the sense of responsibility, dare to think, dare to do, dare to innovate, know how to gather and unite the team of union members and employees; Focus on promoting and enhancing political and ideological education; foster the trust in ideals and professions for all team of cadres, employees and employees. At the same time, the unit needs to grasp the aspirations and feelings, actively care about helping union members and workers in difficult circumstances.

The Congress elected the new Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the new term, consisting of 5 comrades; elected 1 official delegate and 1 delegate on a deficiency to attend the 1st Congress of the Can Tho City Trade Union, term 2025 - 2030. Comrade Ha Thanh Phong was re-elected as Chairman of the Trade Union of Hau Giang Rural Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation Joint Stock Company for the 2025 - 2030 term.
