Can Tho Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital Trade Union completes the Trade Union Meeting

On November 26, the Trade Union of Can Tho Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Hospital held the 19th Trade Union Conference for the 2025-2030 term.

In the past term, the Trade Union coordinated with employers to arrange labor reasonably, promote democratic rights at the grassroots level, ensure the organization and operation regulations; actively care for the lives of union members, civil servants and workers (DV, VC-NLD) during holidays and Tet.

Accordingly, the unit has given 193 gifts to union members and employees, with a total amount of nearly 163 million VND on the occasion of Lunar New Year; presented 126 gifts to children of union members, employees and employees and children with a total amount of over 20 million VND on the occasion of June 1, Mid-Autumn Festival; sickness allowance, maternity allowance, etc.

The Trade Union has widely deployed to members and employees to contribute to the Golden Heart Fund, the Fund for the Poor; support areas affected by natural disasters, floods, etc. The Trade Union also advised Party committees and the Board of Directors to build and implement free medical examination, treatment, and medicine for nearly 300 patients with musculoskeletal diseases; coordinated to organize free medical examination, treatment, and medicine for more than 300 workers in Tra Noc Industrial Park with a value of 150 million VND.

The Hospital Trade Union maintains movements and organizes implementation, concretizing them into many appropriate forms such as the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", women "Good at public work, good at housework", "Green, clean and beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene".

Entering the new term, the Hospital Trade Union aims to strive to annually implement the grassroots democratic regulations, periodically organize dialogues at the workplace, organize Workers' conferences; participate in contributing to the Golden Heart Fund and other funds launched by the Trade Union; 100% of workers are union members; promote the work of training and fostering Trade Union officials, registering women to "Good at public work, good at housework", ...

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ly Duy Phuong - Deputy Head of the Trade Union Work Department (Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City) - acknowledged and commended the outstanding results of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union and the Party Committee, VC-NLD at the hospital in the past term. At the same time, it suggests that the grassroots trade unions continue to take better care of members and employees; improve the effectiveness of propaganda work; innovate emulation movements; build an increasingly strong trade union.
