Dong Thap Labor Federation organizes a conference to contribute opinions on documents to the Provincial Trade Union Congress

On December 3, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) held a conference to contribute opinions on the draft document to be submitted to the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The conference was attended by Comrade Nguyen Kha - former Secretary General of the Tien Giang Trade Union Federation, former leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor through the periods, members of the Provincial Federation of Labor Executive Committee and all full-time union officials of the Provincial Federation of Labor.

Speaking at a suggestion for discussion, Mr. Hoang Khac Tinh - Permanent Vice President of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that the delegates need to focus on in-depth and frank discussions on core issues. Mr. Tinh proposed to comprehensively evaluate the results of the implementation of the Resolution for the 2023-2025 period, propose innovative and feasible solutions for the 2025-2030 term.

Key contents that were focused on include, for the Political Report, focusing on evaluating outstanding results achieved in the past time, advantages, limitations, causes and identifying goals and targets to strive for during the term to ensure feasibility and coverage; clarifying tasks, solutions and especially breakthroughs for the new term, in order to create sustainable growth momentum for the Trade Union organization. For the Reviewing Report of the Executive Committee, it is necessary to contribute ideas and responsibilities for the leadership, direction and operation of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor at the present time to draw profound lessons.

The conference received 6 direct contributions from delegates. The opinions demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, focusing mainly on proposing innovative and breakthrough solutions to completely resolve backlogs, perfect the system of targets and proposed breakthroughs.

The report needs to be built in a highly general manner, better assessing the situation of workers, civil servants and laborers with advantages and difficulties; more deeply assessing the quality and effectiveness of emulation and reward work; assessing the effectiveness of building strong grassroots trade unions with changes to improve quality over time to increasingly meet the requirements and aspirations of union members and laborers;...

Ms. Vui affirmed that this is an important basis for the Provincial Federation of Labor to continue editing and completing the draft document, ensuring the first Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, will be a great success, successfully implementing the goal for the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
