Many enthusiastic opinions of trade union officials on the Document of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress

On the morning of August 13, at the Hall of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor held a Conference to discuss and contribute opinions on the draft Documents of the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; members of the Executive Committee, members of the Provincial Federation of Labor Inspection Committee; Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of grassroots trade unions with many union members; cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Federation of Labor.

At the conference, delegates focused on giving comments on the key contents of the draft Congress Documents, including: topics, viewpoints and development goals; evaluating the results of the 2020 - 2025 term; targets, tasks and breakthroughs for the 2025 - 2030 period; solutions for development, Party building and the political system.

Notably, there were 12 opinions proposing many practical and key solutions such as: improving the quality of human resources; expanding vocational training associated with digital transformation; investing in transport infrastructure; supporting buses and shuttle buses for workers to facilitate travel and increase rest time. Delegates also recommended strengthening sustainable employment policies, increasing income, supporting housing, expanding cultural and sports institutions; building playgrounds and entertainment areas near workplaces; developing a system of kindergartens and child care services suitable for workers' working hours.

Speaking to acknowledge and accept the opinions of the delegates, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Trang - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and enthusiasm of the delegates who have contributed many opinions to the draft document of the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor will fully synthesize the opinions of the delegates to report to the superiors for consideration.

The conference was held in a democratic, frank, responsible and effective spirit, creating conditions for delegates to reflect the aspirations of union officials, union members, and workers; affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in participating in building the Party, government and contributing to the socio-economic development of Dong Thap province in the period of 2025 - 2030.
