Opening of the 16th Son La Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 20252030
Son La - On the morning of December 29, the Son La Provincial Labor Federation solemnly opened the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030.
The Congress was attended and directed by Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Also attending were Mr. Cha A Cua - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Son La province; leaders of the People's Committee and People's Council of Son La province; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province and 150 official delegates, representing more than 12,000 union members and workers in the province.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", at the opening session, delegates listened to the report on the results of the first session of the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress; Political report of the Executive Committee of the 15th Provincial Labor Federation to the Congress for the 2025-2030 term; report on the results of trade union activities in the 2023-2025 period and goals and tasks in the coming time.
The Congress also listened to the Report summarizing the opinions and recommendations of union members, workers and laborers to the Party, the State, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and authorities at all levels.

In addition, many presentations were presented at the Congress, focusing on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; at the same time, proposing solutions to innovate trade union activities, especially at the grassroots level.
