Admitting union members of Genova Group Company Limited reaches over 95% of total labor

On November 1, the Trade Union of Genova Group Company Limited held its 2nd Congress, term 2025-2030, with 80 delegates representing 1,400 workers.

During the 2024-2025 term, the grassroots trade union has cared for the lives and jobs, protected the legitimate rights of workers; organized a creative labor emulation movement, improved working conditions, limited occupational accidents and developed union members to 1,296/1,384 employees.

The Congress agreed on the targets for the 2025-2030 term: admission of over 95% of union members, 100% of employees who have been disseminated laws, 90% improving vocational and technological skills, 50% participating in cultural and sports activities.

The new Executive Committee, consisting of 7 members, chaired by Mr. Tran Anh Kiet, will specify the resolution, assign tasks and implement practical activities to care for and protect the rights of employees and apply digital transformation throughout the company.

Speaking at the Congress, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung - Vice President of the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor praised the achievements of the Trade Union in the past time.

In the 2025-2030 term, grassroots trade unions need to improve the effectiveness of caring for and protecting workers' rights; sign Collective Labor Agreements that are more beneficial to union members; at the same time, promote the dissemination of policies and laws associated with digital transformation.

"The trade union also needs to organize an emulation movement "good workers, creative workers" and discover outstanding factors; stabilize the organization, assign clear tasks and implement activities right from the beginning of the term", Ms. Dung directed at the Congress.
