More than 400 units of blood donated in Quang Binh
Quang Binh - More than 400 cadres, union members, and workers participated in voluntary blood donation, spreading the spirit of humanity to the community.
On May 23, at hall A3 of Quang Binh University, the Quang Binh Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated to organize a voluntary blood donation program with the goal of receiving 416 units of blood to serve the treatment of patients.
The program carries the message "Donate blood - give life", attracting a large number of cadres, union members, workers of grassroots unions and citizens in the area to participate. All blood donors are checked before taking blood and are advised on after-donsorship care regimes according to regulations.
According to the Organizing Committee, each donated blood unit is a ray of hope given to patients in need of emergency blood transfusion, especially at provincial and district hospitals facing difficulties in emergency blood supply.
This is not only an annual humanitarian activity but also an opportunity to spread the spirit of mutual love in the working community, contributing to building the image of Quang Binh as humane - healthy - united.
In addition to blood donation activities, health units and trade unions also strengthen propaganda about the benefits of voluntary blood donation and call on organizations and businesses to continue to accompany to maintain a stable blood supply for emergency care and treatment.
