The union organizes a warm birthday in the thousands for Don Duong forest rangers
Lam Dong - After a series of days of climbing mountain passes and winding streams to protect the forest, workers of Dong Duong Forestry Company Limited enjoyed a warm birthday organized by the union.
On September 20, Mr. Nguyen Thien Tuan - an employee of Branch 3, Don Duong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. - said that the union had just organized a meaningful birthday party for union members and workers.
Mr. Tuan shared that he was very moved to attend the birthday party organized by the union with his colleagues, especially with the joy of the leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation. For him, this year's birthday is even more special as this is the last time he welcomes his new age at the company before retiring.
A simple birthday party but full of meaning. I clearly feel the concern of the union and the sharing of my colleagues. This will be a beautiful memory, an unforgettable mark in the years of being attached to the profession and the company, said Mr. Tuan.
With the same joy, Ms. Do Thi Thu Hien - the Company's office worker - said that the union members and workers were all very excited. Every year, the grassroots union organizes 2 birthday parties for union members and workers.
On this occasion, people are not only congratulated and given birthday gifts but also interact and celebrate together, organized by the union in coordination with the company's Board of Directors.
Chairman of the Trade Union of Don Duong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. - Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam said that the unit is managing and protecting nearly 22,000 hectares of forest.
Workers here often stay in the area, patrol, and inspect forest protection even outside of working hours, weekends, holidays, and Tet. Many people have been attached to the forest all their lives, with long patrols, climbing mountain passes, wading streams, carrying rain and sunlight.
Understanding those difficulties, the trade union coordinated with the Board of Directors to care for life, improve working conditions, and increase income for workers.
Currently, the average income is nearly 13 million VND/month. The union also organizes many cultural, sports, sightseeing and tourism activities for workers to exchange and connect.
Every birthday is an occasion for workers to gather with colleagues in a joyful and warm atmosphere, exchanging congratulations, encouragement, and staying in the profession, Mr. Tam shared.
