Quang Yen Ward Trade Union coordinates with enterprises to build green urban areas
Quang Ninh - On January 19, the Quang Yen Ward Trade Union coordinated with Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company to organize a program to donate trash bins and flowers.
The program was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga - Chairman of the Quang Yen Ward Trade Union; Mr. Nguyen Van Nhan - General Director of Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company.
On the local side, there were Ms. Bui Thi Quynh Nga - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Yen Ward, along with representatives of the ward People's Committee, specialized departments, offices, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations of the ward.
The program is organized to concretize the Resolution of the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, associated with the theme of the province's work in 2026: "Breakthrough in economic growth; improve urban quality, soon meet the criteria of a centrally-run city".
Implementing the motto "The State and the People work together", the Quang Yen Ward Trade Union has proactively coordinated with local authorities, mobilized social resources, especially the support of local businesses in urban beautification, improving the living environment, caring for the lives of workers, laborers and the community.
Responding to this policy, towards welcoming the 14th National Congress of the Party, Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company has coordinated with the Quang Yen Ward Trade Union to implement practical activities for the urban environment.
At the program, the enterprise presented 60 maple blossoms (trunk diameter from 810cm, height over 3m), expected to be planted along Tran Nhan Tong Street; presented 70 trash bins with a capacity of 120 liters.
All trees and trash bins will be handed over, planted and installed on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, with a total value of 110 million VND.
This activity not only contributes to improving the environmental landscape, perfecting urban infrastructure, raising public awareness in environmental protection, building a civilized urban lifestyle; but also demonstrates the connecting and accompanying role of trade union organizations in mobilizing social resources, connecting businesses with localities.
This is one of a series of activities under the program "Joining hands for a green - clean - beautiful urban area" implemented by the Quang Yen Ward Labor Union in coordination with Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company in Hiep Hoa, Dong Mai and Quang Yen wards, with a total budget of 260 million VND, demonstrating the social responsibility of the enterprise in building a sustainable and civilized living environment.
