Binh Dinh Ward Labor Union sets key tasks for the new term

The Congress was attended by Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL).

The Congress is an important first step in the new term, orienting the work of the Trade Union in the context of the administrative apparatus being streamlined, operating effectively and efficiently; opening a new development stage with higher vision, aspiration and responsibility.

The Congress announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee (IC) and key positions of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union for the first time, term 2025-2030.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union was appointed, consisting of 15 people; the Standing Committee of 5 people; the Inspection Committee of 4 people.

Appointed Ms. Le Thi Thu Thao - an expert of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh Ward - to hold the position of Chairman of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union; Mr. Ho Xuan Thuyet - Vice Chairman of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union, term 2023-2028 - to hold the position of Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union, term 2025-2030.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor - highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, unity and efforts of the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union in organizing and implementing Trade Union activities according to the new model.

Mr. Ha Duy Trung noted that in the coming years, the labor movement and trade union activities of the province will face many difficulties, affecting employment, workers' lives, labor relations and trade union organizations.

That context requires the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union and grassroots Trade Union officials to continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, improve the sense of responsibility, courage and capacity to meet the requirements in the new situation.

"I agree with the goals, directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term of the Binh Dinh Ward Labor Union. This Congress needs to flexibly, creatively and effectively concretize the Resolutions of the Party, the Resolutions of the superior Trade Unions and the political tasks of the locality," Mr. Ha Duy Trung emphasized.

The Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor also suggested 5 more issues for the Congress to discuss, consider and decide. First, build a team of workers with strong political stance, good at their profession, discipline, and industrial style; Second, protect the rights of workers, build harmonious and stable labor relations; Third, innovate propaganda, raise awareness, promote emulation movements; Fourth, develop union members, strengthen grassroots unions, take workers as the center; Fifth, nurture outstanding union members for the Party, strengthen coordination in implementing local political tasks.

Mr. Ha Duy Trung believes that the Binh Dinh Ward Trade Union and its members and workers will continue to be united, dynamic, creative, proactive in seizing and taking advantage of opportunities, overcoming difficulties, striving to successfully implement the Congress Resolution, contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of Binh Dinh Ward, actively contributing to the overall development of Gia Lai Province.
